大都市是工业社会的乌托邦,它拥抱技术,对未来的一切想象和憧憬都在这里以一种加速的方式被实现。自80年代以来,发展的浪潮一步步将十几亿人口推向城市化的狂欢——城市成为了乐园。
然而,在这鳞次栉比的城市图景之中,个体的情感与记忆往往被隐藏起来,如像素般密集而模糊。展览希望通过艺术家在城市语境下的个人经验,重构城市化进程中的宏大叙述,思考我们应该如何理解城市?如何想象人与城市的关系?
通过艺术家的视角,我们可以重新审视城市的本质,探索其中蕴含的情感和记忆。这些个人经历和感受可以帮助我们理解城市的多样性和复杂性,同时也促使我们思考人与城市之间的互动关系。展览将提供一个独特的视角,让观众重新思考城市的意义,以及如何在城市中找到自己的位置和价值。
Metropolis is a utopia of industrial society, embracing technology, where all imagination and aspirations for the future are realized in an accelerated manner. Since the 1980s, the wave of development has gradually pushed over a billion people into a frenzy of urbanization - cities have become playgrounds.
However, in this sprawling urban landscape, individual emotions and memories are often hidden, densely packed and blurred like pixels. The exhibition aims to reconstruct the grand narrative of urbanization process through the artist's personal experience in the urban context, and think about how we should understand the city? How to imagine the relationship between people and cities?
Through the perspective of artists, we can re-examine the essence of cities and explore the emotions and memories contained within them. These personal experiences and feelings can help us understand the diversity and complexity of cities, while also prompting us to think about the interaction between people and cities. The exhibition will provide a unique perspective for viewers to rethink the meaning of the city and how to find their place and value in the city.

在深圳这四十余年的高速城市化进程中,城市一直在被观察、记录和解读。城市不仅是社会发展进程中形成的实际载体,也是承载个体记忆与情感的场所。然而,在城市中,各种社会角色往往被定义为群体,而个体的存在似乎只留下了并不具体的面貌。
这种现象反映了城市化进程中的一种特殊现象,即在城市化的狂欢中,个体往往被边缘化,而群体和集体的特征更加突出。城市中的人们被定义为某种身份或社会角色,而个体的独特性和个性往往被忽视或淹没在城市的浩瀚之中。
展览可以通过艺术家的视角,尝试从个体的角度去观察和解读城市。通过艺术作品,可以呈现个体在城市中的真实面貌、情感和记忆,从而打破城市中个体被模糊化的现象。这样的展览不仅可以提升观众对城市的理解,也可以唤起对个体在城市中存在的重要性的思考。
During the high-speed urbanization process of over 40 years in Shenzhen, the city has been observed, recorded, and interpreted. Cities are not only practical carriers formed in the process of social development, but also places that carry individual memories and emotions. However, in cities, various social roles are often defined as groups, and the existence of individuals seems to only leave an unspecified appearance.
This phenomenon reflects a special phenomenon in the process of urbanization, that is, in the frenzy of urbanization, individuals are often marginalized, and the characteristics of groups and collectives are more prominent. People in cities are defined as certain identities or social roles, and the uniqueness and individuality of individuals are often overlooked or submerged in the vastness of the city.
Exhibitions can attempt to observe and interpret cities from an individual perspective through the artist's perspective. Through artistic works, individuals can present their true appearance, emotions, and memories in the city, thereby breaking the phenomenon of individuals being blurred in the city. Such exhibitions can not only enhance the audience's understanding of the city, but also evoke reflection on the importance of individual existence in the city.

本次泰康精品收藏展位于深圳市中心高层写字楼的一处即将被重新装修的办公空间,展期为两个月。利用当前拆除前一次装修后的毛坯过渡状态,我们将本次展览置入其中。就像一个终会醒来的梦境一样,这个临时的展览事件被折叠在两个办公室交接的时空内。我们试图从展览设计的角度,在有限的时间和空间内,与泰康空间一起探讨个体情感与城市的关系。
这样的设计不仅为观众提供了一个独特的观展体验,也使展览本身成为了城市发展进程中的一个有趣而深刻的注记。展览的临时性和特殊性使得个体情感与城市关系的探讨更加具有实验性和启发性。通过这样的展览设计,我们希望能够引发观众对城市空间的思考,并唤起对个体情感在城市中的重要性的认识。
The Taikang Boutique Collection Exhibition is located in a newly renovated office space in a high-rise office building in the center of Shenzhen, with an exhibition period of two months. We will incorporate this exhibition into the current transition state of the previous renovation after demolition. Like a dream that will eventually wake up, this temporary exhibition event is folded within the time and space of the transition between two offices. We attempt to explore the relationship between individual emotions and the city from the perspective of exhibition design, in limited time and space, together with Taikang Space.
This design not only provides a unique exhibition experience for the audience, but also makes the exhibition itself an interesting and profound footnote in the process of urban development. The temporary and special nature of exhibitions makes the exploration of individual emotions and urban relationships more experimental and inspiring. Through such exhibition design, we hope to stimulate the audience's thinking about urban space and raise awareness of the importance of individual emotions in the city.

从搭乘交通、进入写字楼的闸口、电梯、走廊,再到进入展厅的经历仿佛模拟了一次深圳上班族的常规流线。这种常规性代表着城市中无数个体日复一日的生活经历,我们将此理解为展览体验的序曲。在常规的办公场所之中产生一个梦境。
当拨开序厅镜面帘的一瞬间,观众进入被半透明PVC充气材料围塑的主展场空间。空气被包覆后反转成为塑造空间的载体,仿佛包裹出一个梦境的边界。78个尺寸为750x2800x400mm的超尺度充气枕带来朦胧的观感和柔软的触感,抚慰人心,同时也传递出脆弱和虚无。展场如同自由流动的虚实场域,其中并置了从城市空间中剥离出的一个个独立的梦境片段。观众暂时忘却身处城市群体中的角色与背景,进入了审视自我与艺术品的时空。
The experience of taking transportation, entering the gates, elevators, corridors of office buildings, and then entering the exhibition hall seems to simulate the conventional flow of Shenzhen office workers. This regularity represents the daily life experiences of countless individuals in the city, and we understand it as the prelude to the exhibition experience. Create a dream in a regular office setting.
At the moment when the mirror curtain of the lobby was lifted, the audience entered the main exhibition space surrounded by semi transparent PVC inflatable material. After being enveloped, the air reverses into a carrier that shapes space, as if enveloping the boundaries of a dream. 78 ultra sized inflatable pillows with dimensions of 750x2800x400mm provide a hazy appearance and soft touch, soothing the heart while also conveying fragility and nothingness. The exhibition hall is like a freely flowing virtual and real field, juxtaposed with independent dream fragments detached from urban space. The audience temporarily forgets their roles and backgrounds within the urban community, and enters a time and space of examining themselves and artworks.

一道铝蜂窝芯顶廊由入口延伸至整个主展厅空间,在尾厅转化为立面,引导观众的观展流线的同时,引领着空间叙事节奏。铝蜂窝芯正立面可透视至一侧的城市景观和另一侧的艺术作品。随着观众的走动,观看角度不断变化,材料呈现金属质感并反射临近的景像与光线。一日间不断变化的自然光线和其他观众的漫游身影映射在铝蜂窝芯墙面上,形成动态的光影质感。观众在观展的过程中,会遇到只属于此刻此地的观感记忆。这种设计不仅增添了展览的视觉层次和趣味性,也为观众带来了与作品互动的体验。
An aluminum honeycomb core roof corridor extends from the entrance to the entire main exhibition hall space, transforming the tail hall into an fa ç ade, guiding the audience's viewing flow while also leading the narrative rhythm of the space. The front facade of the aluminum honeycomb core allows for a panoramic view of the urban landscape on one side and an artwork on the other. As the audience moves, the viewing angle constantly changes, and the material presents a metallic texture and reflects nearby scenery and light. The constantly changing natural light and the wandering figures of other viewers throughout the day are reflected on the aluminum honeycomb core wall, creating a dynamic light and shadow texture. During the exhibition, the audience will encounter visual memories that only belong to this moment and this place. This design not only adds visual depth and fun to the exhibition, but also provides the audience with an interactive experience with the work.

展览空间搭建的主要材料——PVC充气产品,通常被广泛应用于玩具、运动器具以及临时活动搭建。这种产品的生产周期短,能够快速搭建起一定的体量。而铝蜂窝芯材料则常规应用于蜂窝板材内部,能够分散承担来自板面方向的压力,使板受力均匀。一般情况下,铝蜂窝芯材料并不会单独使用,而是作为其他材料的支撑结构存在。
在本次展览中,我们选择了这两种常规的工业材料,并对其进行拆解重塑,进行再表达,呈现其常规功能之外的新的姿态或原本的质感。通过这种方式,我们试图暗示城市中被忽略的具体个体的真实情感。这样的设计不仅赋予了常规材料新的意义和表达方式,也使观众能够从不同的视角去感知和理解城市以及城市中的个体情感。
The main material used for exhibition space construction - PVC inflatable products, are usually widely used in toys, sports equipment, and temporary event construction. This product has a short production cycle and can quickly build a certain volume. Aluminum honeycomb core material is commonly used inside honeycomb panels, which can disperse and bear the pressure from the panel surface direction, making the panel uniformly stressed. In general, aluminum honeycomb core materials are not used alone, but exist as supporting structures for other materials.
In this exhibition, we have chosen these two conventional industrial materials and dismantled and reshaped them to present new postures or original textures beyond their conventional functions. Through this approach, we attempt to imply the true emotions of overlooked individuals in the city. This design not only endows conventional materials with new meanings and expressions, but also enables audiences to perceive and understand the city and individual emotions within it from different perspectives.

本次展览共展出8位艺术家的9件/组泰康收藏艺术作品,包含绘画、装置、影像等多种媒介。第一件作品也是最后一件作品,来自王思顺的霓虹灯艺术装置《我在远远的想你》,安置在写字楼外远处的建筑屋顶上。观众在眺望的距离中,可以看到真实城市的景观和模糊的字迹,这将观众从梦境中带回现实的同时,又将思绪拉远。
透过空间叙事与日常材料的非日常应用,我们希望展览空间能够激发观众与艺术品、场地、城市、时间、记忆和情感的多维度体验。通过展览的停留,观众可以发现属于自己的瞬间,这样的体验将使展览更加深刻和个性化。
This exhibition showcases a total of 9 pieces/group of Taikang Collection artworks by 8 artists, including various media such as painting, installation, and imaging. The first and final work is from Wang Sishun's neon light art installation "I Think of You from afar", which is placed on the roof of a building in the distance outside the office building. In the distance of observation, the audience can see the real city landscape and blurred handwriting, which brings them back to reality from dreams while also pulling their thoughts away.
Through the non daily application of spatial narrative and everyday materials, we hope that exhibition spaces can inspire audiences to have multidimensional experiences with artworks, venues, cities, time, memory, and emotions. Through the exhibition's stay, the audience can discover their own moments, which will make the exhibition more profound and personalized.
