"No matter when, where, or in any situation, intangible leads will connect those destined to meet. This line takes various forms, can be stretched or tangled together, but it will never break." The legend of the Moon Elder's Red Line tells us that some people are destined to meet. Each of us has a red thread wrapped around our little thumbs, which connects us with our loved ones and guides us to meet the destined ones, creating history and the future together.

This legend originates from a thin blood vessel that connects our heart to the little finger on our hand, and then extends outward from the little finger until we find our destined person. It automatically wraps tightly around the small blood vessel on that person's little finger. Just like the venous system in the human body, this tiny blood vessel like red line can also have its own branches, connecting us with those we can help and change, and even love.

The designer took inspiration from this legend and designed this red line device. This device symbolizes that people between neighbors, cities, and countries are connected by a red line, aiming to unite us all, no matter how big the differences or distances between us are.

The first two installations were placed in the La Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City. The region is very famous and particularly favored by young people, students, foreigners, and "fecal diggers". Although this area has always existed as a residential area, it is mainly composed of functional spaces such as cafes, boutique stores, art galleries, and restaurants. It is a diverse living space, and various encounters are staged here every day. This is also the reason why designers chose this place as the exhibition venue for red line installations.
It is worth mentioning that this is also the first piece in a series of art installations that Mexico City is currently planning to showcase.
