Design Analysis
The design site is located inside the owner's office park, and the external transportation method is an external elevator. At the same time, the internal space is staggered with beams and columns, and the windows are wide open and closed. In a small single story space, the entry experience is unobstructed. In the limited space of the large open and closed park, we are considering how to translate it into a quiet and introverted exhibition and reception function with rich levels, while also taking into account the cultural attributes of tea utensils. I hope that the future space can meet the needs of rich scene experiences, comprehensive places that can be visited, exhibited, and received.

Design Concept
Through extensive visits and research to Jingdezhen. We have seen the stories behind a large number of vessels, and this millennium cultural accumulation is more valuable than the vessels themselves. The designer hopes to take the porcelain making process as a thinking point and extract prototypes of porcelain making process scenes. Linking objects with space, conveying subtle emotions and feelings. This small museum is not only a single exhibition space for vessels, but also hopes to continue a field of porcelain spirit, a complete space that combines traditional and modern aesthetics, like a small village of exquisite porcelain workshops. By connecting various forms of spatial prototypes such as corridors, kiln entrances, workshops, courtyards, pavilions, etc. through rich and varied paths, different scenes can evoke different feelings in the heart, step by step, one scene by one. This is a miniature porcelain 'small village', and we will name the project 'Porcelain Village'.

The outer corridor
Firstly, as we enter the space, we construct a half wall that happens to cover the view. This not only resolves the disadvantage of having a clear view, but also creates an external corridor experience similar to entering a workshop. It is the prelude to entering, walking in the narrow and long corridor, taking a listening step, and when the sunlight passes through the hazy curtains, the light and shadow fall on the wall, and the heart becomes quiet.

Kiln Mouth
The end of the gallery connects to a huge floating square space, which is an important hub of the entire exhibition hall. Entering the interior, there is a huge contrast. We create a kiln like cavity space, with small openings at different angles that allow for a glimpse of other functional areas. Inside, it is surprising and curious. Above the cavity, starry sky lights are combined, and future porcelain collections from different years will be displayed around the cavity one by one. Customized transparent pressure discs make the porcelain pieces float in mid air, creating a mysterious perception.

Workshop
We trace the origin of the porcelain workshop and implant a workshop building in the space. We do not want it to be a simple replication of traditional architectural forms, but rather a general research and optimization. We hope it is stable, lightweight, and able to convey a sense of memory. The design uses commonly available iron pipes for construction, with precise combinations of steel pipes of different sizes, combined with surface rust treatment, resulting in a color that is both ceramic and simple. The house provides the spirit of the field and combines various exhibition forms. It is worth mentioning that we have transferred the traditional outdoor drying rack, and the exhibition rack advances and retreats layer by layer, which can meet the display of a large number of small vessels. In the future, this place will be a collection place for important private vessels of the owners, and a shelter filled with spatial perception.

The courtyard
Emptiness is the quality of space. Between the half wall and the workshop, we create a medium-sized open area and arrange exhibition materials along the wall. Next to the house, we create a giant cement poured long table, which is usually used as a booth for both sightseeing and exhibition. When guests arrive, there are eight or nine friends, which is an area for tea tasting and communication, like being in an open-air courtyard, relaxed and peaceful.

The pavilion
In the corners of the entire exhibition hall, small pavilions were placed, with a small scale that was just right. Providing a break for the host and a private conversation for two or three people, we continue the workshop's approach and hope that the overall space is both diverse and unified. We use iron and steel embroidery technology combined with semi transparent cloud silk boards to create a quiet and hazy atmosphere. Everyone sits on the ground in the small pavilion, and everything is quiet.

Route. Linking memories
In the space, we have established intricate and rich paths, connecting and transforming scenes. In the paths, we have implanted multiple scene prototypes from traditional porcelain workshops, corresponding to objects, in an attempt to evoke memories through space. Step by step, the scenery resolves the feeling of small-scale places, making the space more layered, like wandering in a small village, enhancing the perceptual experience. Whether the space itself can be integrated into the exhibition culture in a small venue is also an important topic for our thinking this time.
