项目场地位于北京市西城区广义街的华星大厦，原为对外出租的歌舞厅娱乐场所及地下一层小型旅馆。经政府租赁后，进行了功能升级，转换为服务社区居民的街道文化活动中心。
The project site is located in Huaxing Building, Guangyi Street, Xicheng District, Beijing. It was originally a rented out dance hall entertainment venue and a small underground hotel. After being leased by the government, it underwent functional upgrades and was transformed into a street cultural activity center serving community residents.

改造前的首层和地下层并不直接连通，且地下空间净高有限，不利于活动空间的使用。因此，设计重点在于连接性、可达性和在原有结构限制下的空间处理。
Before the renovation, the first floor and underground floor were not directly connected, and the net height of the underground space was limited, which was not conducive to the use of activity space. Therefore, the design focus is on connectivity, accessibility, and spatial handling within the constraints of the existing structure.

设计以“植入几何体”和“植入连续屋顶”的方式改造上下两层，使得两层建筑空间实现连续性和视觉上的连贯性，同时满足空间尺度和使用功能的要求。
The design aims to transform the upper and lower floors through the use of "embedded geometry" and "embedded continuous roof", achieving continuity and visual coherence in the two-story building space while meeting the requirements of spatial scale and functional use.

首层作为社区文化和服务空间，包括社区居委会、小剧场、展览宣传和小型图书馆等功能。地下一层则作为社区配套和社区活动空间，包括社区展厅、影音室、社区工坊、舞蹈排练室、社区客厅和儿童空间等。
The first floor serves as a community cultural and service space, including functions such as community neighborhood committees, small theaters, exhibitions and promotions, and small libraries. The basement level serves as community facilities and activity spaces, including community exhibition halls, audio-visual rooms, community workshops, dance rehearsal rooms, community living rooms, and children's spaces.

社区剧场采用“T型”看台布局，灵活满足不同场景下的使用需求。剧场辅助功能设置在阶梯形看台下方，同时设计了接待台、咖啡吧和儿童展示区，丰富了空间层次。
The community theater adopts a "T-shaped" stand layout, which flexibly meets the needs of different scenarios. The theater auxiliary functions are located below the stepped stands, and a reception desk, coffee bar, and children's exhibition area are designed to enrich the spatial hierarchy.

社区书塔位于阅读空间中心，提供多种书架展陈方式，并通过人工灯膜模拟天光，为社区使用者提供舒适的阅读环境。
The community book tower is located in the center of the reading space, providing various ways of displaying bookshelves and simulating daylight through artificial light film, providing a comfortable reading environment for community users.

地下一层空间通过绿色连续路径串联社区配套和活动空间，强化了水平空间节奏感。地下空间利用“植入连续屋顶”的概念，创造舒适的空间感受。
The underground space connects community facilities and activity spaces through a green continuous path, enhancing the sense of horizontal spatial rhythm. The concept of "implanting continuous roofs" is utilized in underground spaces to create a comfortable spatial experience.

社区客厅作为社区配套系列中的开放空间，通过可移动的家具模块进行空间分隔，满足多种社群活动的需求。
The community living room, as an open space in the community supporting series, is separated by movable furniture modules to meet the needs of various community activities.

儿童空间设置在地下一层尽头位置，设计了可供儿童独立玩耍的阅读和绘本小屋，同时提供了亲子互动空间，满足不同年龄段的需求。
The children's space is located at the end of the basement level, designed with a reading and picture book cabin for children to play independently, while providing parent-child interaction space to meet the needs of different age groups.

改造后的广内社区文化中心为当地居民提供丰富的文化和休闲活动场所，极大地提升了社区参与和归属感。建筑师强调了社区空间设计的开放性和体系化，将空间权力释放给使用者，实现了社区场所感的营造目标。
The renovated Guangnei Community Cultural Center provides local residents with rich cultural and leisure activity venues, greatly enhancing community participation and sense of belonging. Architects emphasize the openness and systematization of community space design, releasing spatial power to users and achieving the goal of creating a sense of community place.
