Talking Brains is an exhibition that creates experiences, stimulates the imagination and shows how language is connected to our biology. It has a fully immersive design that takes visitors from the origins of humans and languages to their complex evolution. It aims to present our brains from the perspective of language function: a scientific approach to language that emphasizes its psychological and biological makeup and its inextricable links to neuroscience, genetics, anatomy or human evolution.

Thanks to the use of RFIDcards, it is an experience that goes beyond the exhibition walls. The technology recognizes visitors and personalizes their experience: content is displayed in the language of choice, and installs can be enriched with personal data such as date of birth, experiment results or game scores. Additionally, this personal itinerary is registered and can be sent to the visitor's email address if desired.
The dedicated area of CosmoCaixa is 750 square meters and is bordered by three walls, the fourth being the point of connection with the rest of the museum. So this is where the entrance and exit are located. All exhibition enclosures and partition walls follow the same construction system: modules of folded aluminum panels of different shapes and sizes are connected to form a geometric surface.

Talking Brains is committed to understanding diversity in an inclusive way. Several actions have been taken to benefit several collectives: spatial ergonomics, accessible graphic design, interactive audiobooks and Braille panels for visual diversity, closed captioning and audio induction loops for auditory diversity are some examples.
